This poster, presented at the EuroGEOSS workshop (12-14 Septembre 2018, Geneva), features the first results of the Snow Observations from Space algorithm analysing 22 years of Landsat data over two periods (winter seasons; 1995/2005 & 2005/2017) for the entire Switzerland.
We can see the snow is gradually disappearing in high altitude and that conditions that prevail in the Plateau region (low altitude) are slowly gaining terrain.
